Jungle Park / Las Águilas (Arona)

A compact but impressive wildlife park set in a lush tropical valley in the hills above Los Cristianos, operated by the Loro Parque group. Jungle Park (formerly known as Las Águilas — 'The Eagles') is famous for its spectacular free-flight bird of prey shows where eagles, hawks, falcons, and vultures swoop down from the surrounding hillsides over the heads of amazed spectators in the outdoor amphitheater. The park is built along jungle trails winding through dense vegetation, crossed by rope bridges and tunnels that children especially love. Animal highlights include the walk-through lemur enclosure (ring-tailed lemurs freely approach visitors), a penguin colony, crocodiles, raccoons, meerkats, and a petting zoo with goats and guinea pigs. The Bobo Bounce (jumping pillows), a zipline, and an adventure ropes course provide active entertainment for kids aged 5–15. The park is smaller and more intimate than Loro Parque (average visit 3–4 hours), making it ideal for families with younger children who may find Loro Parque overwhelming. The restaurant offers good-value meals with views over the jungle canopy. A free shuttle bus runs from Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas. Open daily 10 AM–5:30 PM.
