Forestal Park Tenerife (La Esperanza)
Tenerife's premier treetop adventure park, set within a fragrant Canarian pine and eucalyptus forest in the hills of La Esperanza. Forestal Park offers 11 adventure circuits with over 90 platforms and challenges suspended between the trees at heights from 1 to 15 meters, making it suitable for all ages and ability levels. The circuits are color-coded by difficulty: green (beginner, minimum age 5, minimum height 1.05m), blue (intermediate), red (advanced), and black (expert adults only). Each circuit includes ziplines (tirolinas), rope bridges, swinging logs, nets, and Tarzan swings. The longest zipline stretches 230 meters across a forested ravine. The park provides full safety equipment (harness, helmet, gloves) and mandatory training before each circuit. Instructors speak English, Spanish, and German. The cool forest climate (average 18–22°C) provides a refreshing escape from the coastal heat. Facilities include a picnic area in the forest, a small café, and free parking. The park is particularly popular with families with school-age children (8–15) and active teenagers. Average duration: 2–3 hours for the family circuits. Open Thursday–Sunday and public holidays (plus daily during school holidays), 10 AM–4 PM in winter, until 6 PM in summer. Tickets: from €23 adults, €16 children (5–12). Online booking recommended, especially weekends. Located at 1,000 meters altitude — bring a sweater even in summer. A 25-minute drive from Santa Cruz or 40 minutes from the south.
