Restaurante Los Roques (Los Abrigos)

Considered by many locals and repeat visitors to be the finest seafood restaurant in southern Tenerife. Located in the traditional fishing village of Los Abrigos (near the Tenerife South Airport), this family-run establishment has been serving fresh fish and seafood for over 30 years. The menu changes daily based on the morning catch: grilled parrotfish (vieja), cherne (wreckfish), sama, octopus Galician style (pulpo a la gallega), grilled squid, lapas (limpets with green mojo), and their famous seafood rice (arroz caldoso con marisco). The tables overlook the small fishing harbour and the ocean. The restaurant is consistently rated among the top seafood restaurants in Tenerife on major review platforms. Reservations essential, especially Friday–Sunday and during holiday periods. The village of Los Abrigos has several other excellent seafood restaurants creating a small gastronomic strip.
