Lanzarote's premier diving hub with over 30 dive sites along the south-east coast. The underwater volcanic topography creates dramatic seascapes of lava tubes, caves, arches, and walls teeming with marine life including angelsharks, barracuda, grouper, stingrays, moray eels, octopus, and seahorses. The Museo Atlántico (Atlantic Museum) is Europe's first underwater contemporary art museum by Jason deCaires Taylor at 12–15 m depth off Playa Blanca — accessible from Puerto del Carmen dive centers. Year-round water visibility 20–40 m, temperature 18–24°C. Major PADI 5* dive centers: Safari Diving (est. 1987), Manta Diving Lanzarote, Euro Divers Lanzarote. Dive packages from €45 (single dive), €320 (10-dive pack). Wreck dives accessible for advanced divers. Night diving and Nitrox available.
