A boutique, eco-themed water park in the resort town of Playa Blanca in southern Lanzarote, located within the Relaxia Lanzasur Club hotel complex but open to the public. Aqualava is themed around Lanzarote's volcanic landscape, with lava-rock inspired architecture designed in the César Manrique tradition that blends with the island aesthetic. The park features: the Timan Fire (multi-lane racing slides), Magma River (lazy river with water jets), the Lava Wave Pool (with regular wave cycles), the Volcano Pool (a heated saltwater pool — particularly popular in winter months), and the children's zone 'Aquanauta' with mini slides, a pirate ship, and shallow lagoon. The use of heated saltwater distinguishes Aqualava from other water parks on the island, making it comfortable even on cooler Lanzarote days (the park stays open year-round). The compact, well-designed layout means parents can supervise from sunbeds while children play safely in the dedicated kids' zone. Facilities include free sunbeds, a snack bar, restaurant, and locker rental (€3). The park is smaller and more intimate than Aquapark Costa Teguise, making it ideal for families with younger children (2–10) who may find large water parks overwhelming. Open daily 10 AM–5 PM (6 PM in summer). Tickets: €24 adults, €16 children (3–12), free under 3. Online advance booking recommended for the best prices. A 10-minute walk from Playa Blanca center. Combine with a visit to the nearby Marina Rubicón for a full family day out.
