Kasbah Center (Maspalomas)

A major commercial and nightlife complex in the heart of Maspalomas, approximately 300 meters from the famous dunes. The Kasbah Center is a large open-air shopping center with a distinctive Moorish-inspired architectural design (hence the name) that transforms into a bustling nightlife hub after sunset. The lower level houses retail shops, supermarkets, and daytime cafés, while the upper levels and surrounding plaza contain a dense concentration of bars and entertainment venues. The Kasbah is particularly known for its international bar scene: Irish pubs (Mulligan's, The Shamrock), British-style sports bars, karaoke bars, and live music venues featuring rock cover bands, tribute acts, and solo performers. The complex caters strongly to a British, Irish, and Northern European clientele, creating a familiar pub-crawl atmosphere. Popular venues include Linekers Bar, The Red Cow, and Tipsy Terrace. Many bars show live Premier League, Champions League, and international sports on large screens throughout the day and evening. The complex includes a popular taxi rank and is a 5-minute walk from the beach. The Kasbah is more relaxed and pub-oriented than the club-heavy Yumbo Centrum nearby, making it popular with families during the day and the 30+ crowd at night. Open daily, with nighttime entertainment from approximately 8 PM–3 AM. Happy hour specials are common (usually 5–8 PM). Some venues also offer daytime entertainment and full English breakfast.
