Corralejo Main Strip

Fuerteventura's main nightlife hub, centered on Calle Nuestra Señora del Carmen (known locally as the 'Music Square' area) and its surrounding streets in the vibrant port town of Corralejo. This is the most concentrated party zone on the island, attracting a young international crowd of surfers, kite surfers, backpackers, and holidaymakers. The area offers a mix of live music bars, sports bars, cocktail lounges, and small nightclubs. Iconic venues include Rock Island Bar (legendary live rock music bar with bands performing nightly, a Corralejo institution for over 30 years), Flicks Karaoke Bar, Waikiki Beach Club (not to be confused with the Tenerife venue), and several Irish pubs. The music square area features a cluster of bars with outdoor seating around a small plaza — creating a natural pub-crawl circuit. Unlike the mega-clubs of Tenerife or Gran Canaria, Corralejo's scene is more laid-back, with a bohemian-surf atmosphere. Many venues feature local and visiting musicians playing rock, reggae, and acoustic sets. The nearby marina area offers more upscale cocktail bars and waterfront terraces for a quieter evening. The strip gets busy from 10 PM onward, with peak hours midnight–3 AM. During high season (July–September, Christmas) the area is lively every night; in low season, Wednesday and weekends are the busiest. Corralejo also has a small but vibrant LGBTQ+-friendly scene with a few dedicated bars. The Corralejo Carnival (February/March) brings massive street parties to the area.
