Acua Water Park (Corralejo)
Fuerteventura's only water park, centrally located in the vibrant town of Corralejo in the north of the island. Acua (note: not 'Aqua') Water Park is a compact, well-designed facility with 8 water slides, a wave pool, an adventure river, and dedicated children's areas — all with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Lobos. Key slides: the Speed Racer (a multi-lane racing slide), the Twister (enclosed spiral slide), the Kamikaze drop slide, and a family raft ride for up to 4 people. The children's zone 'Mini Park' features scaled-down slides, water jets, and sprinklers in shallow pools designed for children aged 2–8, supervised by trained lifeguards. The wave pool operates in timed cycles throughout the day. The park includes free sunbeds, lockers (€3 deposit), a fast-food restaurant with kids' menu, a sun terrace with sea views, and a small shop for essentials. What makes Acua special is its location: many slides offer Atlantic views, and the sea breeze keeps the park comfortable even on Fuerteventura's hotter days. The park is smaller than the mega-parks of Tenerife, making it manageable for a half-day visit (3–4 hours). Open daily 10 AM–5 PM (6 PM in summer). Tickets: €26 adults, €18 children (5–12), free under 5. Online discounts often available. A 10-minute walk from Corralejo center and its main beaches. Combine with a morning at the Corralejo sand dunes (Parque Natural de Corralejo) for a full family day. Popular with families staying in Corralejo who want a water park experience without a long drive.
