Masca Gorge
The legendary 5.2 km descent from the village of Masca (elevation 600m) to the Atlantic Ocean. After a fatal accident in 2018, access is now heavily restricted — the trail requires advance booking through the Cabildo website and is permitted only in the downstream direction during the summer season. When open, it remains one of the most dramatic hikes in the Canary Islands through volcanic ravines to a stunning bay.
