Benijo
A wild, scenic black sand beach in the Anaga Rural Park on the northeastern coast. Not patrolled and can have strong currents — swimming is at your own risk. Famous among photographers for spectacular sunsets and the Roques de Anaga rock formations offshore. The beachside El Mirador restaurant is renowned for fresh seafood. Access via a steep stone staircase.
