Hospital José Molina Orosa
The main public hospital of Lanzarote, located in Arrecife with 340 beds serving the entire island population of 155,000 plus tourists. Named after Dr. José Molina Orosa (1883–1966), a pioneer of healthcare in Lanzarote. Services include emergency, maternity, surgery, cardiology, and ICU. For complex specialist care, patients are transferred to Gran Canaria by air ambulance (30 min). The hospital underwent major expansion in 2018.
