Lanzarote's largest and liveliest resort, originally the fishing village of La Tiñosa. Stretching 7 km along the southeastern coast, it offers volcanic and golden sand beaches. The Avenida de las Playas runs the full length, lined with bars, restaurants, and dive centres. Playa Grande is the main beach, while the Old Town harbour retains traditional charm with waterfront restaurants serving fresh catch. The area is Lanzarote's centre for scuba diving, with over 15 dive sites within 20 minutes including the Museo Atlántico underwater sculpture museum.
