The most active property market on La Palma. 2-bed apartments: €70,000–€150,000. 3-bed townhouses: €120,000–€250,000. Rural fincas in the Aridane Valley: €150,000–€500,000. The area around Plaza de España and Calle Real is most desirable. The market is approximately 30% foreign buyers (predominantly German). Banana plantations and fincas with land are particularly sought after. The 2021 eruption temporarily disrupted the market but the town centre and most residential areas were unaffected.
