Costa Calma
A purpose-built resort town on the Jandía Peninsula's eastern coast, known for its long, calm beaches and as the wind sports capital of southern Fuerteventura. The name ("calm coast") refers to the generally calm water conditions. The resort stretches approximately 3 km along the coast, connecting to the Sotavento beach system to the south. Popular with German visitors, the area has numerous hotels, apartments, restaurants, and supermarkets. The Oasis Park Fuerteventura (La Lajita) — the island's main wildlife park with camel rides and botanical gardens — is 15 minutes north.
